This year, GEDfest expanded to Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg, bringing our celebration of music and community to six cities across Western Canada — Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
Together, we raised $265,000 in support of local cancer charities, with each city hosting its own Tragically Hip tribute band and donating all proceeds to local cancer care initiatives.
To date, GEDfest has raised an incredible $765,000, uniting music lovers and communities in the fight against cancer.

The 8th Annual edition of Canada’s largest annual fundraiser in memory of Gordon Edgar Downie took place in October 2025, spanning six cities across Western Canada.
